Terms and Conditions for Neat Maid LLC

Introduction Neat Maid LLC, also referred to as “Company,” “we,” or “us,” reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions for our cleaning services in New Haven, Connecticut, and surrounding areas without prior notice. By requesting services from Neat Maid LLC, clients accept these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them. Please read these terms carefully.

COVID-19 Policy Customers must fully disclose any knowledge of COVID-19 symptoms before booking a service with Neat Maid LLC. It is the customer's responsibility to inform the company if they experience symptoms related to COVID-19, have been out of the country, or have been in quarantine. Neat Maid LLC reserves the right to discontinue any service on health and safety grounds.

Refund Policy Neat Maid LLC does not offer refunds for cleaning services. However, if a customer is not satisfied with the service, they must contact us within 24 hours of the cleaning. We offer a free re-clean within 24-48 hours if notified in the stipulated timeframe. Customers must provide a list of areas missed during the initial cleaning with pictures as evidence.

Receipt Policy Receipts are automatically sent upon successful payment. If not received, customers must request a receipt manually, and it will only be sent to the email provided at the time of booking.

Gift Cards Gift cards can be redeemed for cleaning services but are not refundable or redeemable for cash. Remaining balances on gift cards may be used for future services.

Service Agreements There is no long-term contract between the client and Neat Maid LLC. Clients may cancel recurring or one-time cleaning services more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled booking without penalty. A $79 cancellation fee applies to cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking date.

Move-Out Cleaning Policy Homes booked for move-out cleaning must be empty and free of clutter. Neat Maid LLC does not provide pet odor removal services. If a home is not empty upon arrival, the company reserves the right to adjust the service to a standard or deep cleaning and apply additional charges.

Hourly Services Hourly services are billed at the current rate at the time of booking. It is the customer's responsibility to manage the allotted time. Any additional time required will be billed accordingly.

Approval of Services Customers can confirm their satisfaction through voice, email, or text. Once approved, Neat Maid LLC reserves the right to deny re-clean requests. All complaints must be filed within 24 hours of the cleaning.

Cleaning Teams Our cleaners work in teams of one or more, depending on the size of the job. While we strive to provide consistent teams, changes may occur due to scheduling needs.

Pet Policy Neat Maid LLC is not responsible for pets that escape during cleaning. If pets will be free in the home, please notify us in advance.

Health & Safety Neat Maid LLC reserves the right to refuse services that may compromise health and safety standards.

Payment Policy Payment is due in full upon booking. Accepted payment methods include credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and interac transfer. Cash payments are not accepted unless pre-approved.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy Cancellations within 24 hours of the service date incur a $79 fee. Customers may reschedule more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment without penalty.

Legal Disclaimer Neat Maid LLC is not responsible for damages resulting from the use of cleaning services beyond the outlined service agreement. Any disputes will be governed by the laws of Connecticut, and arbitration will be the primary method of resolving disputes.

Acceptance of Terms By booking a service with Neat Maid LLC, you agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this document.
